It is with profound sadness that the International Jump Rope Union (IJRU) shares the news of the passing of Harbaksh Singh, a beloved international jump rope athlete and respected judge from India. His loss has left friends, family, teammates, and the jump rope community around the world heartbroken. 

Harbaksh Singh was a celebrated jump rope competitor and multiple Guinness World Record holder who inspired jump rope communities around the world with his athleticism, creativity, and passion for the sport. His journey from national-level standout to internationally recognized athlete helped elevate Indian jump rope on the global stage, and his contributions as a certified judge enriched competitions with fairness, enthusiasm, and deep technical understanding.

Harbaksh’s legacy extends beyond medals and records. He was known as a mentor, advocate, and role model whose energy and dedication touched countless athletes and judges. His presence at events, workshops, and competitions was marked by encouragement and sportsmanship.
