IJRU is in the process of establishing a variety of Committees, Commissions, and Councils to help govern our sport and advise the Board of Directors on important matters. Learn about each of these committees to find out more about the ways in which IJRU is growing and developing the sport of jump rope/rope skipping around the world. Committees
Committees are official constitutional bodies responsible for handling core areas like finance, rules, and operations, making decisions to keep IJRU running smoothly. Members are appointed by the IJRU Board of Directors.

Panels
Panels are independent bodies with judicial oversight and oversee ares such as ethics, anti-doping, and disciplinary matters, making impartial decisions without influence from the IJRU Board of Directors or other committees. Members are chosen based on independence and qualifications.

Commissions
Commissions are purpose-driven groups created as needed to manage special projects, initiatives, or strategic priorities beyond the scope of standing committees. Members are selected because of skills or availability depending on the commissions goals.
Youth Development Commission — IJRU is determined to promote our sport and also to use the potential of sport for the betterment of our community. It is imperative that our sport deliberately builds a strategy and plan of action to cultivate and develop the youth of our sport. The Youth Development Commission is tasked with the growth strategy of our youth and to bring our sport to the youth of the world. Councils
Councils are groups that provide advice, share perspectives, and support decision-making by offering information. Councils do not have decision-making authority and are consulted as needed. Members may be appointed, elected, or invited to join based on their role or expertise.
