IJRU and 361° Announce Strategic Partnership, Leveraging Olympic-Level Expertise to Elevate Global Jump Rope

In a powerful move to elevate the sport of jump rope on the world stage, the International Jump Rope Union (IJRU) today announced a landmark 2026-2027 strategic partnership with global sportswear powerhouse 361 Degrees (361°).

 
 


This groundbreaking alliance brings an unprecedented level of major-event experience to the jump rope community. As the first Chinese sports brand to sponsor the Olympic Games (Rio 2016) and an official partner for five consecutive Asian Games—including the upcoming 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games—361° will serve as the exclusive title sponsor for the 2027 World Jump Rope Championships in Norway. This marquee event will build on the sport's explosive global momentum, utilizing the IJRU's continued partnership with the Olympic Channel. With championship finals broadcast to a worldwide audience on the Olympic Channel and over 15 broadcast companies worldwide, this collaboration will further cement jump rope's status as a premier athletic discipline.

The International Jump Rope Union (IJRU) has 68 members globally is currently in the application process for the Alliance of Independent Recognized Members of Sport (AIMS) and previously an Observer with the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF).
