Finland gains full IJRU member status

We would like to congratulate Finland (Finish Gymnastics Federation) as they move from observational to full membership status with IJRU!

Youth Development Commission

Over the past few months, the IJRU Board of Directors and Technical Committee have been discussing the position of youth within the sport of jump rope/rope skipping. We believe that in order to ensure that young athletes have opportunities to access our sport and excel, we need to focus on developing a youth strategy. This strategy will help inform future decision-making around competition events, structures, rules, training techniques and programming for youth in our sport.

The IJRU Board of Directors approved the establishment of a Youth Development Commission and Charter so that we can begin this important work. In the coming weeks, we will put out a call for volunteers to sit on the Youth Development Commission. Please stay tuned for more information.
