IJRU Signs Intellectual Property Agreements

Providing our members with access to new technologies will help the sport of jump rope/rope skipping grow and will allow our NGBs to host world-class, professional events and competitions. We’ve recently signed and approved a series of intellectual property agreements to make jump rope technologies widely available.

Beginning on January 1, 2022, all IJRU technologies will be available to our member NGBs. The agreements include the following technologies:

  1. Registration Portal

  2. Scoring System

  3. Live Results

  4. Video Hub

  5. JumpRopeJudge Application

These platforms are fully integrated to the IJRU scoring system, making it easier than ever to host a jump rope event.

Please stay tuned for more information about the cost and how to access these technologies. We are in the process of working out how these will be rolled out to our members.

Sponsorship Strategy

At our January 2021 virtual board retreat, we identified the establishment of a sponsorship strategy as one of the key components of Marketing and Promotions. To achieve this goal, IJRU has begun working with sport industry experts to develop a sponsorship strategy.  IJRU has decided to partner with Farrell Sports World Wide to help develop a global sponsorship strategy that will enable IJRU to meet new financial targets and continue to promote and develop the sport at the global level.
